Building Partnerships addresses Medicaid providers and provider associations; Beneficiaries and beneficiary advocacy organizations; and Managed care entities (MCEs) and organizations. The purpose is to educate how to recognize, prevent, and report drug-seeking activity; understand their roles in protecting the Medicaid program by reporting suspected fraud; educate about responsibilities to oversee third-party billers; engage beneficiaries in reporting fraud; and educate managed care entities (MCEs) on how to develop good fraud referrals.
