Protect Yourself/Protect Medicaid addresses Medicaid beneficiaries. The purpose of this campaign is to show beneficiaries that providing inappropriate or unnecessary services can sometimes become fraud and highlight the importance of receiving the services paid for by Medicaid. Three initiatives have been designed to assist beneficiaries in understanding their right to advocate for quality care for themselves and their families and help beneficiaries understand their role in protecting the integrity of the Medicaid program.
